The Rockland County Department of Health Bureau of Food and Recreation is responsible for inspecting food service establishments in the County.

Some establishments, such as supermarkets and convenience stores, are not regulated by Rockland County. Further information on these locations can be obtained by contacting the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets website at www.agmkt.state.ny.us or calling (800) 554-4501.

Restaurant:

To search by restaurant name: Enter the first few letters of the restaurant name (or the entire restaurant name) and click “Search”. To search by using a wildcard, enter a % sign and part of the restaurant name (for ex: to see a list of all diners, enter %diner). To see the complete list of restaurants, leave the search box blank and click “Search”.
Search Hints: Restaurant names that begin with "The" may be listed under T. If the name begins with a number, you may need to spell out the number.

City:

To search by city: Enter the first few letters of the city (or the entire city) and click “Search”. To search by using a wildcard, enter a % sign and part of the city name (for ex: to find restaurants in Central Nyack, Nyack, and West Nyack, enter %nyack). To see the complete list of restaurants in alphabetical order by city, leave the search box blank and click “Search”.
